Hoping someone may have heard of/experienced this before. The dealer sure doesn't know what's going on.

I have a 2011 Fusion Hybrid with just under 100,000 miles. Over the past year, I've had this odd thing happen a handful of times. At a stop, ie: traffic light or drive-through window, I'll feel a slight shudder and all the brake warning lights and bells will go off. I'll pull over somewhere safe and put the car in park. The brakes still work, perhaps a bit more sensitively. I'll turn the car off and wait a few minutes. When I turn it back on, everything is fine. No lights on the dash, no warning bells, brakes work perfectly.

I've brought it in to the dealer twice to see if they can diagnose what's wrong and fix it, as I plan to give this car to my teenager when the time comes. Both times they have not been able to replicate the problem or give any suggestions at all. My fear is that it has something to do with the Hybrid systems and that the warranty on those expires at 100,000 miles. I would be LIVID if this happens again after warranty ends and THEN they figure out what's wrong.

Anyone ever heard of/experienced this???
