I just replaced my 2017 Ford Fusion MyKey Fob battery.

On page 50 of the manual ("Onwers Manual 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid") it states:

The remote control uses one coin-type three-volt lithium battery CR2032 or equivalent.

This is not correct.  You need a CR2450.  The CR2032 is much smaller.  I've got it open in my hands now.

I've used both.  They both work.  Mine came with 2032 from the factory.

Actually never mind that, I just realized your 2017 must have the new style Ford keyfob.  Indeed that one does use the 2450 which is much bigger in diameter.

My 2014 came with 2025 and I replaced them with 2032, that's why I was thinking of the two different sizes working.  Guess Ford didn't update the manual when they updated the fob.

Yup.  2032 in my 2013 and my 2010.

A 2450 will be a little wider and a little taller.  But, if it fits in there you are good no matter what.  They are all 3V, and all will last for many years.

I tried to put the CR 2032 into my 2017 Ford MyKey fob.  It wasn't even close to big enough.

Ford owes me $3.50 for that pack of CR 2032's I bought.
