I've been having problems lately with the Sony system not sounding like it used to. It lacks midrange punch and the clarity overall isn't what it used to be sometimes. When I go under the dash and pull the fuses for the radio, speaker amp, sub amp, and put them back in, it usually fixes the problem for a while. The thing is, the problem always comes back. I've tried the master reset but that doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Has anyone else had anything similar to this happen?

Most likely being caused by the famous ANC.  Try pulling that fuse and leaving it out.
