Noise Cancelling Microphones

When I go under the configuration settings (holding down the right search button on the steering wheel and the eject button on the CD player), I can eventually get to a screen that says "Configuration Status." I completely forget how I navigated to get there. Anyway, on that screen the first listing is "Microphone 2: Not Present."

Does anyone have any clue what's up with that? I'm supposed to have noise cancellation in the car but now I'm worried that there is a microphone or several microphones missing.

Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks!

You were in the bezel diagnostic screen. It runs some tests, speaker walkaround, touchscreen calibration, tone test, part numbers.

Would not worry about the microphone. I think it has 1 microphone for the sync system, and 3 for the active noise cancellation.
