My 2014 FFH SE wouldn't start on friday and the dealer just diagnosed it with a broken tab that keeps the wire to the BCM (Body control module) connected but even with my premium service plan, it's not covered under warranty and they would very much like to charge me $228 to repair it. Question is that do you think this is something I could do myself or is it too in depth for someone that doesn't have much mechanical experience? I've done small jobs like replacing air filters, oil changes and filters, battery replacement, etc. Usually i look for tutorials on you tube or something and attempt things myself but couldn't find any walkthroughs regarding this. Please shoot some info over if you can help. Thanks y'all!

If you are talking about replacing the BCM, it has to be programmed after it is installed.
