This is documented in the Owner's Manual. See "REMOVING A HEADLAMP" in the Maintenance section.  It is not a trivial process and requires that the front fascia be partially disassembled. 


Edit: The above applies to the 2013+ Fusions and I see that you own a 2010. I'm betting that the procedure is documented in your owner's manual.

We can only change the driver's side headlamp on our 2012.  The passenger side requires that the front fascia be partially disassembled. Not something either of us would like to attempt, so we get that one professionally changed when needed.  Our last driver's headlamp only lasted one year though.  That sounds awfully quick to me.
