How to check Average Speed?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.

I got 2015 Mondeo (European version of Fusion) Hybrid. It is Very similar to US version.

I love it, but here's the question:

How to check the average speed over the long time?

Engage, empower, myview or trip computer does not provide this information... :/

Well there is the typical calculation

Traveled Distance / Traveled Time ;)

I occasionally do that for a tank (trip 1) if the FE is either really good or "really bad"

But seriously unfortunately there is no such output I wish they would show it at the if the trip as part of the trip result. I'm actually surprised that the Mondeo doesn't have that since it's very common among European cars.

Yes correct

For example my trip 1 which I keep per tank is usually around 13 h for 470 miles = 36 miles/h avg.

The distance display on trip 1/2 rolls over @ 9999.9

I don't know about the time my guess would be 999:59:59.
