My car is a 2013 SE so it doesn't have Intelligent Access. The key fob is a switchblade style.
One of the fobs has been intermittent lately - I once had to click the trunk button 6 times to get it to respond. The lock/unlock buttons are also kinda wonky.
I've switched to my other fob which has zero issues so I suspect the battery is low in the first fob.
I don't want to pay the dealer to replace the battery so I'd like to do it myself. However, I can't see any way to open the key fob without destroying it. I tried to Google it but all I found was a Youtube video explaining the procedure for Intelligent Access key fobs which are not the same.
Has anyone changed the battery themselves? Any links to a helpful guide? Thanks!
