Disappointing results across the board for hybrids & EVs :(

I guess this is to be expected with gas prices continuing to be depressed as they are and no sign of rising this year. Pity people have such short term memories, when gas prices go back up the pendulum will swing back to more efficient vehicles.

Well it's having an effect elsewhere... I filled up for 2.16 a couple days ago. So as usual the swing goes back to trucks and SUVs, and if gas prices jump again in the future they will swing back.

At least the FFH is back ahead of the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and the C-MAX in July. :)

I believe it should stay ahead of the Sonata Hybrid for a while. I believe most dealers have exhausted their stock of 2015 Sonata Hybrids and, with the 2016 being a new design, there is little discount available yet. I suspect it will be winter before Hyundai starts discounting their new Hybrid.

$1.30 CAD/litre or $4.93 CAD/gallon. Now, when converted to USD that's $3.80/gallon, same as you, but unfortunately I don't earn money in USD :(

 

Meanwhile in Washington state it's going for around $2.80/gallon. I'm making a trip to Seattle next week and will be sure to max out the amount of American gas I put in!
