New FFH Forum Main Graphic

I didn't see anyone comment on the new FFH photo that appears at the top of every page here on these FFH forums.

I like the new photo, but it sort of makes it feel like a different site to me, since that Ice Storm FFH photo had been up there I believe since when I joined this forum over 1 1/2 years ago.

Blame me. You're right, that Ice Storm FFH photo was over 2 years old.

I asked Robert if we could get a more modern and different picture of the FFH for the Theme photo, so he provided one.

What flavor FFH do you want next time?

If we want a more modern picture how about one of the newest colors like Magnetic, Tectonic or Guard. Looks like maybe the new theme photo is Magnetic? if so, great choice.

Is the new photo wider than the old one? For the last few days, I haven't been able to see both the forum name (on the left) and the latest topic (on the right) without scrolling horizontally. It used to all fit without needing to scroll. It makes it harder to browse for topics I want to read.

I'm not too fussy about the color, even though the Deep Impact Blue is great eye-candy for me.

 

What I would really like to see is the FFH with the SE Appearance Package with the sporty wheels and the sporty spoiler. But it would need to be parked to get the best view of the 5-spoke wheels.

With everyone wanting their own color represented, is there any way that the forum could display one of several random pics? I had a blogger blog once and did that with a gadget/widget.

There is a way to do that, but it will make the site load slower and Ford isn't good about providing a lot of good FFH photos

Looks mighty good to me! I like that pretty new gray car and the panned shot really makes the car stand out from the background. Nice job!

I think this is a great idea! I'm not even sure what these new colors look like. I'm partial to any Energi photo.

What about using photos of members cars? Could members submit photos that they'd be willing to share for such a use?
