Interesting! The 2013 FFH with Appearance Package came with 17-inch 5-spoke rims. Which rims do you have? Your Fuelly badge picture looks like 5-spoke rims...

Yup, 18" 5 spoke wheels. See pic. According to the 2013 order guide, 2013 FFH SE appearance pkg also came with 18 in. wheels like mine.

I have to agree with HB. The first one I got, what a lemon, but I did give Ford a second chance and the HyTi has been an exceptional car. While I may not be getting high MPG like others, I don't care because it is getting what I expect out of it, and thats really all that matters.

 

On the flip side, because of the shoddy support that I got on the last one, and what appears to be happening again on this one with a clearly obvious issue that is not normal, I doubt I will ever get another one. In fact at this time due to other circumstances, I may be looking at other manufacturers vehicles to replace the Fusion. Not so much because of the weird braking issue, but because I am no longer comfortable in the car on anything longer than 20 minutes, and I discovered its more than just the shape of the seat, its the fact I am partially reclined, with my leg out ahead instead of directly under me like it is in the Flex or a Pickup, and that's what is causing my pains, so swapping out to the SE seat would be a waste of time as I sat in one the other day and I could still feel the twinge that later becomes the pain.

 

I really dont want to get rid of the Fusion, it is still one of the most stylish cars on the road, and the tech is still top notch, none of the other cars in its class can keep itself between the lines, all the others have lane departure warning, but dont help nudge the car back.

My satisfaction quotient is best explained by my purchase of a second FFH to replace my wife's Camry (significantly earlier than originally planned) after driving mine for a year. We are absolutely thrilled with these cars. She doesn't quite get the MPGs I get with mine, but she's still very, very close to achieving the revised EPA number, so nothing to complain about. Miles better than any cars we've previously owned, pun intended. :)

My satisfaction quotient is more than met with my 2013 FFH SE. I reset my Trip Odometer 2 about 5,000 miles ago, and my average over the 5,000 miles is 45.8 mpg. I have had a couple of tankfuls that bombed, I only achieved 38 or 39mpg, but I had other tankfuls where I achieved 51-53mpg as well. In addition, I am able to use carpool lanes while driving alone, and I get to use the I-95 Express Lanes (which usually charges a variable toll of $0.50-$12 based on traffic volume) for free, allowing me to avoid the bumper-to-bumper traffic I would have to endure if I wasn't driving a hybrid. Not to mention the car now has 48K miles, and still has no creaks, rattles or squeaks, is comfortable on trips across the state, and even after two years still has the best styling of any sedan on the road (in my opinion).

Nice posts here. I took delivery of my 2015 HyTi in Nov. 2014, and now have 9,000 miles on her. My expectations have been exceeded as well. My favorite feature is probably the adaptive cruise control that I have. It really makes driving in my neck of the woods less frustrating. We have tourists that love to fluctuate their travel speed from the speed limit to 10+ mph lower than the speed limit then suddenly speed up. The car takes care of everything.

 

My MPGs in the winter are far less than advertised, which Iearned is due to to the car running ICE so that I can stay warm inside. I was down to the 36-38mpg range. Now that it's warm again I'm back up to 41.9-42.0 mpg.

 

My few complaints are that there is a piece of trim that buzzes with certain sounds from the speakers, which I may be able to fix. The other is that the "shuffle" feature on MFT2.0 is awful. It always uses the same "shuffle" every single time. I've found a work around, but it's annoying. My Sync 1.0 vehicle shuffle is always different.

Yup - put me in the happy camper group. The mileage and looks were my major criteria. All met - mileage met in spades.

I get the occasional buzz, too. They come and go with changes in temperature and music! I do have to say that they seem to occur less frequently over time - at least that's my perception. I've never been a shuffler, but that's crazy.

MD13 - I hope mine goes away with time as well. If it does not, I have an idea that may fix it. This is not a problem that is limited to my Fusion. It has happened in my 2012 Escape, in a different location. On a 96 Chrysler Sebring I had as well, did this often, and it was by far the worse rattle/buzz ever. Seems to just be all the plastic they use now in cars. My 80's cars never did this! :)

I wanted my FFH to get half the consumption of my old car - and it delivered on that very well.

 

I wanted a car that felt comfortable to sit in and didn't groan and creak like crazy all the time (something I lived with for 2 years on my old one). The FFH certainly delivered.

 

I wanted a car that was loaded with advanced tech that would make it feel like a luxury car costing double. Certainly a happy customer here! I may not have the adaptive cruise or BLIS or lane keep, but the fact that my car parks itself already makes it the most advanced at my office.

 

I also wanted a problem-free car... the FFH fell a little short on this but at least there was nothing that made the car undriveable.
