My 2010 FFH with 200k miles

Recommended Posts

Most of Ford's profit the last few years has been from selling and replacing drivers inside door handles on Fusions. I'm on my third. The two replacements cost a total of $500 at the dealer. I now know courtesy of YouTube how to do it myself.

Wow I am impressed with these stories. I briefly owned a 2010 Milan hybrid (sold in a week) with 115K and was nervous about the HV battery when I bought it but after reading these stories I will not worry on the next one I buy. My city uses them as municipal vehicles so I assumed they were very robust because we have the worst weather, pot holes and salt!

OK here is an update, I haven't had a FFH since 2013 so I don't stop by as much anymore, but my 2010 FFH that I owned from 2009-2013 is still owned by a friend of ours. I had it from new purchase to 145k miles, then she started using it as her daily commuter.

Her commute is not as long as it used to be, so it took from April 2015 - December 2019 to get this 100k miles.

But her 2010 FFH is still going at 300k miles, the check engine light is on and the dealer said it's a code related to the evap canister and not worth messing with... and in the pic you can see that there's now a fault with TPMS, but those are pretty minor things and the most serious thing that was ever done to the car was the hood and front end repair after she hit a deer a few years ago.

That sure is one great car they built.
