corncobs Report post Posted August 7, 2013 That will be fun but w/ or w/out the PCM update? I have a feeling that could make a difference.
jeff_h Report post Posted August 7, 2013 I had one of 73.6 (I think) but guess I didn't snap a picture of it, don't see it in the photobucket. But this one's pretty close.

vangonebuy Report post Posted August 7, 2013 Jeff_hI had one of 73.6 (I think) but guess I didn't snap a picture of it, don't see it in the photobucket. But this one's pretty close. Awesome snapshot, You used no gas....... :worship:
djminfll Report post Posted August 7, 2013 I know everyone has gotten one of these occasionally... FFH was warmed up, I had stopped for gas, and got home on 100% EV! This one is more realistic. Hopefully will improve when I get the car back today.
hybridbear Report post Posted August 7, 2013 Here are some of our best. I only posted pics of trips more than 5 miles and greater than 70 MPG. 3 vangonebuy, jeff_h and corncobs reacted to this
jsolan Report post Posted August 7, 2013 My personal best that I posted before in the happy MPG thread. It's my slightly downhill commute home following a truck going 35 with minimal stops. 4 Da0ne, vangonebuy, hybridbear and 1 other reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted August 7, 2013 And yet, 44 MPG. :) J/K

rjent Report post Posted August 7, 2013 Take special note of the miles driven .... :) 5 djminfll, vangonebuy, hybridbear and 2 others reacted to this
jeapa Report post Posted August 9, 2013 Wow rjent, those are really good numbers. You got over 50% of those miles in EV.
Charrua Report post Posted August 12, 2013 Not downhill. However, this can only be achieved on a Sunday (no traffic). Very slow acceleration and I never exceeded 30 MPH. 5 djminfll, hybridbear, vangonebuy and 2 others reacted to this
acdii Report post Posted August 12, 2013 I MAY be able to beat that if conditions are just right. There is one stretch of my trip where I can go several miles purely on EV. Game On! 2 jeff_h and hybridbear reacted to this
vangonebuy Report post Posted August 14, 2013 Getting better. But, I haven't driven it much lately.I love the 0.0 gal. 1 jeff_h reacted to this
Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 15, 2013 Reading all of these I wish there was a way to include average speed onto that screen. 1 corncobs reacted to this
Charrua Report post Posted August 15, 2013 (edited) Reading all of these I wish there was a way to include average speed onto that screen. That's the advantage of using trip 1 or trip 2. On my trip: 5.1 miles x 60 min/hr / 15 min = 20 MPH average speed. Edited August 15, 2013 by Charrua
Eddie Sessum Report post Posted August 15, 2013 Still would be nice if it just did it.. My mom's $16000 corolla does. And it doesn't even have a USB port much less anything else.
acdii Report post Posted August 16, 2013 Scangaugeii will do it. Problem with the trip is it also included idle time when stopped. On the Flex I can push the OK button to stop the timer, but they forgot to include this feature on the FFH.

vangonebuy Report post Posted August 18, 2013 Does this qualify as bragging! Sorry. I would say No.5 mile minimum.Running down a battery charge is pretty easy to rack up big MPG There is route 374(I think) in PA. Where my minivan could roll for over 5 miles down hill.ScanGauge read well over 115MPG in a minivan. Up to 150MPG. If I ever get back there in my Fusion, Look out!Rolling down hills really shouldnt count though. Unless you regen the entire distance. That would be cool. aschulz261 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 This probably shouldn't count since it was so easy, a caveman could do it. Go to the top of your nearest volcano, push it over the edge and hold on. 1 hybridbear reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted August 24, 2013 Very very cool but just to be fair what was the MPG going up the vulcano? :-) 1 acdii reacted to this
